Guidelines for application of roadmap career guidance in school education practices

Specific objectives

This work packages applies the CHAMELEON training model in School Education practice, reporting the results, good practices and recommendations about the practical implementation in career guidance to be performed online or in distance learning.

CHAMELEON provides:

  • guidelines for identification of the skills necessary to support career choices in today’s Europe,
  • specific tools to implement these programs and reach countries with no formal provisions.

The objectives of this work package are:

  1. Integration in national school programs of CHAMELEON training model
  2. Produce recommendations for future project results transferability and up-scaling addressed to policy makers and stakeholders in the school education sector
  3. Facilitate the transferring and scale up of the project results to organizations outside the Consortium

This work package will:

  • summarize key findings from the implementation activities by providing practical examples, tales from the field, success stories
  • formulate a set of guidelines for a reapplication outside the School borders

Outcomes

The main results of the this work package is an easy manual, translated to the partners’ languages, for the stakeholders that intend to implement the CHAMELEON roadmap in other schools or even in other contexts, published under a Creative Commons (CC-BY-SA), available on the website and included in the MOOC.

The manual reports:

  • experiences
  • guidelines
  • strategies to recognize the learning outcomes for the users
  • policy recommendations for a formal recognition at the EU level in school curricula
  • a validation of the learning outcome collected in informal contexts using micro-credentials, thanks to the certification, the Schools will be able to recognize the acquisition of these skills formally
  • provide learning content and practical experiences from the world of work for implementing the CHAMELEON technologies and methodologies, also presented and distributed to all interested stakeholders and potential beneficiaries at the final events to relevant policy makers/educational authorities.

The policy recommendations are presented during the Final Conference in Brussels and hosted by AD enjoying its extensive network.
